"Catching Fire" may be the hotly anticipated sequel to "The Hunger Games," but as this new behind-the-scenes clip shows, a lot of careful planning went into making sure nobody was catching on fire on the first movie's set.

As you may remember, in one of the film's (many) intense sequences, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) finds herself trying to outrun a blaze overtaking the forest around her. This new clip, which premiered at Comic-Con ahead of the DVD/Blu-ray release on August 18, explores what went into filming that terrifying fire-following scene.

"My memories are, everybody going 'Get back! Get back! Stay away! and me, being like, standing right there where nobody else is allowed to stand," Jennifer said in the clip. "I'm like, what about me?"

Stunt coordinator Chad Stahelski said that director Gary Ross had expressed an interest in using some real fire so that it wouldn't be only CG flames chasing after the heroine in the final product. Additionally, Gary elaborated on the safety precautions that were taken, including setting out a specific path for Jennifer to run ahead of time.

Chad explains the details about turning the concept into a reality much better than we can in the clip, but we will say that "propane blasts" sound like something we hope to never be around.

Is there another scene you'd love to see them break down on the "The Hunger Games" DVD/Blu-ray special features? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter!
